George Wood

Large animals.

Dr. Wood grew up on a dairy farm in the town of Caledon before heading off to the University of Guelph. Dr. Wood completed his studies at the Ontario Veterinary College and continues to volunteer his time to assist the veterinary fraternity. He is a past president for the Ontario Bovine Practitioners Association and has been a 4-H leader for the past 25 years. In his spare time, Dr. Wood owns both purebred Holstein as well as commercial beef herds.

Dr. Wood is a recipient of the volunteer and citizen achievement award from the town of Caledon. He holds accreditations from the Canadian Food Inspection Agency in; Brucellosis testing, Tuberculosis testing, Candian Health Accredited Herd Inspection (CHAH), Equine infectious anemia testing as well as the export of cattle, horses, camelids, poultry as well as pet birds to the USA.
